He took it as the clear refusal it was, sliding his eyes on the low horizon before starting talking again. They said goodbye and headed to their bicycles. She watched him riding in the midst of the leafy alley. She then raised the sight up to the sky. She could finally enjoy that funny pearly ball alone.
