Deliquesce

Her mom was reading the recipies out loud from her flowery notebook. 

One shell broken. Two, three, four. The woman liked opening the eggs with a smooth motion, as if she was unfolding a thick curtain in an elegant room. She beat the eggs in a bowl and her little daughter poured the oil on it. She erred as she should have soaked the sugar first. The mom reassured that was nothing to worry of. The girl was absolutely mesmerized by the dull yellow drops of oil floating on the surface of the eggs, unable to dissolve.
